Insulation Resistance Testing of a newly rewounded 2 pieces 90kw electric motor for our client BW Offshore in our test facility GIL Automations Lagos
The Motor rewinding was carried out by GIL Automations rewinding team in our bespoke rewinding workshop facility.
The following test were conducted on the motor after the rewinding -
1 Insulation Resistance Test with Fluke 1550C 5kV insulation resistance tester from Fluke Corporation
2. No load RPM test using laser type tachometer with Amprobe TACH20 from Amprobe
3. No load current and voltage test with Fluke 376FC from Fluke Corporation
4. Polarity and continuity test
Test result are all well satisfactory and movement to final offshore location in progress.
