OVERVIEW:

 This class aims at critical blend of knowledge and skills, covering technology in control and Automation. The class training will be complemented by class workshops, discussion on industry best practices and ISA videos. Students will be issued a certificate at the end of the training.

Personnel involved in design, installation, operation and maintenance of Monitoring, Automation and control systems.

OBJECTIVES

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand Hierarchical Structure of Automation and Control Systems
  • Identify Sensor ,Set point ,Comparator and Final control element
  • Identify , describe and indicate the direction of flow of error signal, control signal and feedback
  • Identify the various types of modes
  • Identify the outer or primary loop
  • Identify the inner or secondary control loop
  • Indicate the flow of signals in the system
  • Identify wild stream and controlled stream
  • Descriptions of control problems or requirements
