GIL 315    SPI  (Intools) & InstruCalc. Instrumentation Design           (5 DAYS)

OVERVIEW:

In most plants, more than half of all assets are instrumentation assets. In addition, instrumentation assets are among the most frequently changed. SmartPlant Instrumentation (Intools) reduces the effort needed to manage instrumentation assets. This in turn reduces the risk and cost of the overall plant information challenge. The training aims at giving the participant the opportunity to acquire the necessary skills needed to appreciate Intools in a life project.

A practical approach is taken throughout this course with participants being guided step-by-step to create a loop with its associated wiring, line, and instrument process data. You will also perform calculations; generate specification sheets, loop drawings, and installation details (hook-ups).

Comprehensive course notes will be provided and Students will be issued a certificate at the end of the training.

TRAINING FOR:

Personnel involved in design, installation, operation and maintenance of instruments
