GIL 335 OPC Integration & Diagnostic 1&2 (5 DAYS)
OVERVIEW:
With the constant need for production optimization and cost reduction, there is a growing need for interoperability of equipments. This is needed for efficient monitoring and control of field instruments. OPC is the protocol used in the industry for integrating devices from different vendors. This is enabled by different software drivers that convert data from generic formats such as Modbus, Profibus and proprietary protocols into OPC for easy integration. This course takes you through the basic and advanced skills required for proper OPC based architecture rollout.
The class training will be complemented by class workshops, discussion on industry best practices and videos on OPC. Students will be issued a certificate at the end of the training.
