Description
Flexible Multi-Gas Monitoring in a Wearable Detector
The Honeywell BW Flex is a compact portable multi-gas detector for workers and first responders. Choose from more than 15 sensor options to monitor up to four gas hazards simultaneously, with the fitted sensor configuration selected to suit your application.
Clear Readings and Simple Operation
A large high-resolution display provides real-time gas readings, while single-button operation helps simplify everyday use. Audible, visual and vibrating alarms alert users to detected hazards. IntelliFlash and SafetyTick status indicators support quick visual checks of instrument condition.
Key Features
- Flexible sensor options for combustible gases, oxygen and selected toxic gases.
- Intelligent sensors provide calibration, maintenance and end-of-life information.
- Bluetooth connectivity for configuration, reporting and data management with compatible Honeywell Safety Suite tools.
- Compatibility with the IntelliDoX instrument management system.
- Low, high, TWA and STEL alarm settings, where applicable to the fitted sensors.
- Compact, lightweight, wearable design with IP66/IP68 ingress protection.
- Optional low-power infrared LEL sensing, immune to silicone poisoning.
Battery Performance Depends on Configuration
Published battery performance includes up to 15 hours with catalytic LEL sensing, or 40 days at eight hours of use per day with the NDIR methane sensor configuration. Confirm runtime for the exact sensor combination and operating conditions; these figures are not a guarantee for every BW Flex model.
Applications
Personal gas monitoring for plant workers, confined-space work and industrial, marine or mining environments, subject to the selected sensors, required approvals and your site procedures.
Select the Right Sensor Combination
This listing describes the BW Flex range, not a single orderable configuration. Available sensor options include oxygen, hydrogen sulphide, carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, hydrogen cyanide, chlorine, carbon dioxide and combustible gas sensing. Not all gases are measured by every unit. Confirm the fitted sensors, measuring ranges, approvals, accessories and maintenance requirements against the selected part number and current technical documentation.
